Hi! I'm groovysegue. I am an on-air Traffic Reporter/Manager/Voice-Over chicky from Dallas, Texas. I am happily married and was blessed with a baby girl named Lily Marie on June 23, 2003! I also have two other children--my siamese cats Maui and Mickey.
I write about stuff like my life as a mom, some behind the scenes stuff from my radio job, all things related to the joy of food, flashbacks to my life in the 1970's & 1980's, any Serenity/FireFly-Austin Powers-Kevin Smith-X-Men-Star Wars movies, My love of comics like the Ultimates, Ultimate and Astonishing X-Men, Y: The Last Man, Green Arrow, Superman/Batman and Get Fuzzy, my fave mystery novels, my worship of the God that is Chris Isaak, famous people I get to meet at work (and post pictures of me looking all geeky with my arm around them), my favorite movie and stand-up comedy quotes, my hatred of idiot drivers, as well as various opinions, cheers and rants about anything else that comes to mind. It's not a literary work, it's the ramblings of a sleep deprived working Mom. I just hope it makes you smile :) My LJ is mostly private, due to my very public job. I don't add people very often. Don't take it personally! I just have to be careful who I let in on the inner workings of my job and my life. You would too, believe me!
